A music license is a legal agreement that grants you the right to use a track for a specific purpose. Using music without a license — or with the wrong one — constitutes unlawful use of an artist's work and can lead to takedowns or legal claims.

Musicians earn their living from their craft. When you license a track from Yummy Sounds you support the artist directly and get everything you need to use the music with confidence.

Find a track, open its license picker and choose Creator, Business, Film & Production, Campaign or Campaign Plus. Uses outside those standard licenses go through a custom quote. You can compare the options on the Pricing page. After checkout you receive the clean WAV master, a clean MP3 and a personal license certificate.

Subscription libraries tend to under-compensate the composers behind the music. We prefer a one-time, per-project license model: it pays artists fairly for each use and gives you a clear, permanent license for your specific project.

Every purchase comes with a personal license certificate naming the licensee, track and scope. Submit it through the platform's dispute or clearance process. We provide reasonable assistance with eligible claims, but the platform controls its response time and final decision.

• Business — one project for a single client or company: website, showreel, internal video, trade-fair loop.
• Film & Production — one independent production: short film, documentary, festival entry, including its trailer.
• Campaign — paid digital advertising for one brand, worldwide, 12 months from launch.
• Campaign Plus — the same, with a larger media budget and multiple cuts of the ad.

Pick the one that covers the widest use you can foresee — upgrading later costs the difference between the two tiers, while using a track beyond its license does not. Still unsure? Describe the project in the quote form or write to us and we name the right tier — free and usually within one business day.

Each license covers one channel, project, production or campaign. A second project needs a second license of the matching tier — the track itself stays the same, so there is nothing to re-download. For recurring use across many projects, ask us about a buyout via custom quote.

Every license includes the main mix and, where it exists, the instrumental. Extra versions (short edits, alternative mixes, minus mixes beyond the instrumental) and stems — the separated layers such as drums, bass, keys and vocals — are optional add-ons you tick in the license sheet before checkout. The track page lists exactly which versions and stems exist for that track.

Previews are watermarked so unlicensed copies can be recognised. The files you download after checkout are the clean, full-quality masters — no watermark, no tags.

Yes. Enter your company name, address and VAT ID at checkout and the invoice PDF is issued accordingly — available straight away in your account under Orders, alongside the license certificate and the audio files.

In your account under Orders: every purchase keeps its files, invoice and license certificate available for re-download, with no time limit. Bought as a guest? Create an account with the same email address and the order appears automatically.

Creator, Business and Film & Production licenses are worldwide and perpetual for the named channel, project or production.

Campaign and Campaign Plus cover worldwide paid digital distribution for 12 months from launch. Content posted to the brand's owned channels during that term may stay live, but further paid promotion requires renewal or extension.

Yes — guest checkout is available. Your download links are sent by email and stay valid. If you create an account with the same email later, past purchases appear in your order history automatically.

Yes. Custom edits, buyouts and bespoke composition are all available through our Custom quote flow — or simply get in touch. We usually reply within one business day.

You cannot claim authorship of the music, redistribute the raw audio files as a standalone product, or use tracks in projects that promote hate, violence, discrimination or illegal activity. Full details are in our Terms of Use.
